I am SO sorry friends!!
I promised a sneak peek the beginning of the week am a total slacker! I did post one on Facebook, but totally spaced the blog. SO sorry!!!
But, alas…HERE it is…the first of three sneak peeks…the first of three cakes I’m going to share with you.
What do you think!?!?? Any guesses on theme? The three cakes are all different, but share a common theme…so, happy guessing!!!
I’ll be posting a few more sneak peek pics this week/coming weekend then next week I’m going to do one more giveaway and share the Title Card with you!!
So, stay tuned!!!
lovely
looks liks a party or circus theme… love the vibrant colours and can’t wait to buy your new class. Your work is amazing.
Happy Birthday to your beautiful girl and the cake is awesome! I am halfway through your first Craftsy class and I am soooo inspired!!! You brought up a point here today I was wondering about… about the cake board being bigger than the cake. I made an 8″ round cake but if I use 8″ cake boards I will only have like 1/8″ of icing, I don’t think that’s enough. Do you trim your cake down on the sides? Or, could I use a 9″ cake board and trim that a bit? What do you do on round cakes?
Yes…if you’re cake is too close to that bottom boards edge then trim the cake a bit so you have a nice 1/4″ thick crumb coat. So glad you’re enjoying the class!!
I need to be more active on your Facebook page so hooked on the blog. Was the winner determined as yet? Going to your Facebook now
Yes…Facebook is so easy for me! But I’ll be doing more over here this year too. Yes…Lisa Ellis won the giveaway last week!!
First of all Happy birthday to your lovely daughter & she is really lucky to have a mother like you. I think your new class will be related to circus theme cakes.
LOVE your work! I was thinking circus theme also! Hope your daughter had a FANTASTIC birthday!
