If you’ve been a reader of this blog for a while, you probably know I’m not a huge fan of white chocolate. It just has a funky flavor to me. I definitely prefer dark chocolate because it resonates well with my taste buds…and probably those female hormones!!! haha!!
Until now…
I recently received some white chocolate from Pastry Portal and it’s beyond fantastic!!!!!
I had to email Ayi to tell her how much I loved them and that she totally converted me!! She mentioned that this white chocolate is not deodorized, or masked as most Belgian whites are. This is pure, natural cocoa butter!!! – PURE!!! And you can taste it.
It also makes the most amazing ganache that tastes almost like a creamy buttercream…with a 3:1 ratio!!

I had to share the news because I have been eating it straight which is SO unlike me!!!
She also has an AMAZING milk chocolate called “Noche”, see HERE. Again, not a huge fan of milk chocolate but even my husband said it was the best tasting chocolate he’s ever had!! It was extremely creamy and heavenly!! Add that one to your cart too!
I’m getting some dark chocolate because I’m convinced this is will be my favorite chocolate ever, so when I get it, I’ll let you all know how it tastes!! Ayi recommended the Casa Luker Misterio 58%, so I’m excited to try it!!
