Hi sweet friends!!!
The Christmas holiday is in full bloom!! Let’s talk Christmas cakes!!
I have been featured in Women’s Day magazine!!!
In this month’s issue, December 2013, Craftsy and I joined forces to showcase a Christmas cake I designed that “anyone can make”!
I created this diagonal candy striped cake with green ombre holly leaves and little red berries. I used my simple wax paper transfer technique which makes it fool proof to apply those stripes!!Truly, anyone can do it!!
Check out this article Women’s Day put together to help you create this cake!!
They took my step by step directions and created their own version of the cake for their magazine article. They did a fantastic job! The article has lots of pictures, recipes and more!!! Check it out HERE!
Also, while I was at Crafty this past August filming my latest class, Simply Modern Cake Design, I created three more variations of the Clean and Simple Christmas cake!! Crafty put together a free short video for each variation to give you a few simple tricks/tips on how to put the finishing touches on.
To see the FREE VIDEOS we put together on these variations, click HERE and head over to a special location where Craftsy, Women’s Day and I came together to bless you all with some fun cake ideas!!
Now, you have some beautiful, “anyone can do it” holiday designs that you can use for your upcoming Christmas or New Year’s parties!!!
If you want to know how to use my wax paper transfer method to apply any graphic on your cake cleanly and precisely, check out my class “Clean and Simple Cake Design” for 50% off HERE!!
Enjoy your Christmas season!!
Squeeze your kids, love on those closest to you and remember HE, my sweet Jesus, is the reason for the season! :) May the Lord’s love richly enfold you and His peace wash over you during this Christmas season.
Isaiah 9:6
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called Wonderful Counselor,
Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
God is truly awesome and so are you for sharing your amazing talent! Thanks for sharing, I look forward to giving this a try. Blessings!
So very pretty! I love the ribbon of holly.
Jessica, I have been a fan for quite some time and have loved both of your classes. I praise you to so many people because of how much I have learned from you! I saw this in WD the other day while skimming through at the doctor’s office, and I just knew it was your cake. I am so happy that you are able to reach such a large audience so that others can learn from you just as I have. Thank you again and congratulations!

I think they are beautiful. Keep up the great work. I look forward to more of your classes. Merry Christmas to you and your family. God Bless.
